Repair POL Facilities, 505th Quartermaster Battalion, Okinawa, Japan (HERC)

ITSI Gilbane has been awarded a task order under our AFCEE HERC for fuels infrastructure repairs, Okinawa Japan, valued at over $1 million. This project involves five repair tasks to fuel facilities of the Army 505th Quartermaster Battalion located at Tengan, White Beach, and Chimu-Wan on Okinawa. The design/build requirements include installation of raised flooring within a pumphouse; replacement of an additive injector building; demolition of old sand traps used to filter incoming fuel at Tengan Pier, with replacement construction of duplex strainers; diversion of storm water drainage away from an oil-water separator currently serving secondary containment at a fuel truck fill stand; and upgrading of valves on the fuel lines at the White Beach Pier.

Information on open positions for this and other projects will be posted on the ITSI Gilbane website.
